We have 4 married children and we all have born again Christian homes, for which I am very thankful. We are delighted to see this passed down from generation to generation. I am a people person and love visiting, and helping them too, in any way I can. I love a good cup of hot tea with friends, neighbors, or family. And now blogging has become my latest passion, many thanks to a wonderful grandson. May you all find the joy, peace and happiness in our Lord Jesus Christ that I have found.

Our son-in-law loves to golf. His son-in-law also loves to golf. So you can imagine that they get in all the golfing they possibly can. The neatest thing is that his son-in-law just purchased a house just across from Hole #1 on the local golf course. So you can guess where they will be spending their spare time. There has been a great deal of moving going on in our family. Our granddaughter, husband and two great grandchildren have moved to our town. Hurray.

After church and lunch today, I went visiting. Went to see granddaughter's new home here in town. How nice to have them nearby and to see the little great grandchildren more. They are so close now. Also went to see daughter's new home, still partly under construction but will be great when finished this week. They move in this weekend and it will be great to have them close by too. How wonderful it is to have lots of family surround you in times of illness. My husband has prostate cancer of a very rare kind. It is untreatable. It is so great to have nurses come to help you with all the chores. It is great to have Hospice line up the pain meds he needs too. Company comes every day and it is so wonderful to have family and good friends. Labels: Family

So often friends, family and neighbors do many good deeds for you. When you are sick, they mow the lawn in 90 degree temperatures and are happy to do it. When they bake a cake, they bring you some and often special gifts and how do you say thanks with gourmet gifts. Well, I love chocolate and I know almost everyone else does, as well. And what could be better than fresh berries dipped and decorated in chocolate? Perhaps some berries dipped in chocolate along with cookies also dipped and decorated in chocolate. This is a chocolate lover's paradise.
