We have 4 married children and we all have born again Christian homes, for which I am very thankful. We are delighted to see this passed down from generation to generation. I am a people person and love visiting, and helping them too, in any way I can. I love a good cup of hot tea with friends, neighbors, or family. Green Onions

Our neighbor has a tiny little garden planted between railroad ties. It is amazing how much she gets out of it. She has winter onions planted and saves the seeds and every Spring she brings us bunches of fresh green onions. They are so good. She has given many people seeds from them so that they can raise their own. She said her radishes just went to tops this year or she would have had some of those for us too. We have gotten hooked on the little crispy crust pizzas. They have them in all your favorite flavors. They only take about 16 minutes to bake and your lunch or supper is ready. Brita Water Faucet Filter

We switched from a PUR Water Faucet Filter to a Brita and we just love it. It has a battery in it that will last 5 years. It flashes green every time you use the filtered water and keeps track. When it is 2 weeks from needing a new filter, it flashes orange. Then you should get one on hand so that when it flashes red, you can change it. Families are very precious to us. We have so many wonderful grandchildren. They are beginning to have such great families. This is just one of them that we enjoy so much. I wish we could get to see more of the families but some are so busy they just don't get around I guess.

My husband always seems to come into the house bleeding every time he is working on a project out in the garage or out in the yard. Everyone is interested in staying fit today for their health's sake. We are among those that exercise every day and when our latest equipment broke down after much use, we started out shoping for fitness equipment. We couldn't believe how much exercise equipment had changed since we bought our last treadmill and exercise bike. We were amazed at the variet of equipment available on the market today. Lawn Mowing

Well it has started. The season of lawn mowing. When we got home this morning, our neighbor lady next door had mowed most of our lawn adjoining theirs. That was really nice. She said she would have mowed it all but her husband stopped her. It is only about 60 out and very little wind so was really nice to mow. Holly is our little dog. She has been the best dog we have ever had. She got an infection on her leg and I have to give her a capsule twice a day. She is so good that she lets me open her mouth and put the capsule down her throat. She also takes a little thyroid pill in the morning so I have to do that twice in the morning. She is so good. Here it is, Spring at last! It is time to start thinking of camping again. I notice people are getting out their RV's and cleaning off the winter dirt and starting to get ready for another fun summer. But I also know that seniors, especially, have sold their home and live in their RV year round. So they may be looking for an rvt to trade up on their RV. There are so many new models out with so many amenities that the older models didn't have. I couldn't believe it when I saw one with hardwood floors in the kitchen and central air conditioning. Family Gathering

We had such a good time at Easter time with our daughter and son-in-law at their home. They served a delicious dinner which was enjoyed by all their children and wives and husbands and great grandchildren. It was so much fun to see the little ones open Easter candy later on in the afternoon and our daughter served a scrumptions strawberry shortcake-like dessert in a dish fit for a magazine. In checking into the Internet, I found I could get it wholesale and save a great deal of money by doing this. It was so easy. All I had to do was fill in the coverage amount I wanted, and then fill in the number of years I wanted to pay for it. Some people have put off getting an HDTV television because they feel happy with their old one. However, they just have not gone out to see the new Samsung HDTV. I think once you see HDTV you are not satisfied with anything else. The picture is so clear you can count the hairs on the people's heads. The color is fantastic, as well, and we wouldn't be without ours now. By checking the Internet, I found we could move up to a larger HDTV television at discounted prices that can't be beat. Home Town Trip

We made a trip last night to our old home town for a funeral visitation. We had a good trip and visited with many cousins. We hadn't seen some of them for many years. My daughter loves netbooks. Although she has a computer and a laptop, she likes to get a new netbook every so often because they are so light and easy to handle. When they travel, she says that is the way to go. By taking the netbook, there is less weight and they are light and easy to use. I looked into the Internet and found that you can get some real bargains on them. i think I would like to have one for when we travel. Have you checked your basement lately? Is there any mold forming down there? It can be quite dangerous to your health. But an easy way to take care of a damp basement is with a basement dehumidifier. Tonight we go out for Mexican. It is about a 17 miles trip to our favorite restaurant tonight. They have TexMex night along with their regular menu. Last night they had a 3 meat buffet that is outstanding but we had other plans. But tonight we will be going for our favorite enchiladas, fajitas, and combo platters. We have such a happy bunch of little grandchildren. It is so much fun to see them grow and develop. She is talking so much now, it is almost hard to keep up with her. She reminds me of our oldest daughter who was speaking in sentences by the time she was one year old. They love to copy every thing we say and do too. It is a great deal of fun.
