We have 4 married children and we all have born again Christian homes, for which I am very thankful. We are delighted to see this passed down from generation to generation. I am a people person and love visiting, and helping them too, in any way I can. I love a good cup of hot tea with friends, neighbors, or family. Every person is trying to help preserve the environment. We recycle and use every means at our disposal to help keep the earth healthy and in tact for future generations. But did you ever think about green shopping on the Internet as a way to protect the environment? I have to admit that I did not think about it. But such shopping also helps reduce carbon dioxide emissions and it certainly uses less energy. I think it is a great idea to put into use whenever you plan a shopping trip. Brotherly Love

Just the beginning of many happy brotherly days ahead. They grow up so fast and soon will be playing with toys together. Emry loves to spend time playing with his first cousin, Kaelyn. It will really be something when the little brothers get to be 2 and all 4 are playing together. Grandpa and Grammy are going to be awful busy, as well as, their folks.
Rough Weather

Have you been watching the weather on the west coast? We used to live in southern California and for once I am glad to be in the frozen midwest. I remember when just a couple of inches would flood the streets and you couldn't get to work. The kids stayed home from school because they didn't have boots. There was no use owning boots for perhaps a one-time good rain yearly. Now they are flooded and it is just terrible. Labels: Arizona, California, mud slides, Rain, snow, weather
I guess we complain because it has been raining on top of our snow now for about 3 days and doesn't look like it is going to let up. It is slippery and they tell us it is going to get colder and we will probably have snow overnight and tomorrow - enough to shovel. We all need ice skates here. The accidents are just awful and the body shops are going to be busy for a good long time repairing vehicles this year. The ER is full of people who have slipped and fallen and injured themselves badly. At least we don't have to worry about a mud slide taking our home downhill or coming down upon our home. I feel really sorry for those folks out in California and Arizona as well.

Enjoying smoking today is getting harder and harder. They are making rules and laws against smoking everywhere you go. You can't even to go into your favorite bar anymore and smoke or they will kick you out. But with electronic cigarettes you can smoke anywhere. People are yelling at you about the second hand smoke and how dangerous it is to your health and their health, as well. But with this cigarette, you don't have any dangerous second hand smoke and you can enjoy your cigarette without all the fuss. As I am getting older, I have begun to wonder if I have enough life insurance . I do not want to leave my family burdened with a great many bills when I die. Therefore, I have thought of buying more insurance. Everyone is giving me so much advice my head is spinning. Do I get whole or term insurance? It is fun to try and check into Facebook every day. I am seeing all kinds of new pictures of our grandchildren and great grandchildren. They are all growing up so fast. I am glad it is so easy for their folks to put their pictures on Facebook. It is easy to keep up with their growth. Furnace Filter

We got a new furnace last Fall and it came with a very sturdy furnace filter. It is one you take out and wash and dry and put back. We got the ones from the hardware store that are supposed to fit the furnace but they go in so tight we nearly ruined the first one by the time we got it put in. In the meantime, I washed the one that came with the furnace and it is ready to put back in. It is good to know you can shop for filters on the Internet too. Dessert

I love jello in almost any flavor. My husband likes his jello with mandarin oranges in it. For years we have had jello with fruit cocktail in it or with bananas like his mother always made. I like it with pears and peaches too. It took 50+ years for my husband to tell me he would rather have jello with mandarin oranges in it. Isn't that funny? We love it with cool whip on top too.

When I first got my website, I found it was very hard to get indexed. However, I checked into the Internet to http://www.freedirectorysubmission.org for help. It is quite hard to generate the traffic you need but this way, you are able to get the help you need for free. It was just what I needed and I wish I had known that at the time. I remember back when I had my babies, my doctor gave me a big bottle of vitamins to take during my pregnancies. He never said, and I never asked, just why I had to take them. But since then I have learned just how important prenatal vitamins are. When you are pregnant, you may feel you are eating well and properly and getting all you need, however, that is not always the case. You need more in order to produce a healthy baby. When I decided to go on a diet, I didn't realize that there were best fat burning exercise plans to follow. I thought all I had to do was take a diet pill and I was on my way to weight loss. However, I guess I just never thought of exercise as a way to rid myself of fat. I thought you would probably have to exercise to the extreme, getting your heart rate up high to lose weight. I did not know that a good protein powder would help you build muscle mass. I thought as long as I performed a great deal of exercises and exercising, that I would build up my muscles. However, I found out that is only about half of actual muscle building. In checking the Internet, I found that a good protein that would absorb well and not cost me so much would be the thing to do. Colon Cleansing Pill

A while back, my husband and I decided to do a colon cleansing program we saw on TV. It was quite complex and required a number of products, fasting and took 2 weeks to complete. Now I have discovered there is a colon cleansing pill that is much simpler. We did have good results with our colon cleaning program but we felt we never wanted to go through that again so I checked the Internet and found a much easier way to get the job done. Are you an expert on dieting and the best diet pills? Well, I am not. I go to the store and look at rows and rows of diet products. They seem to have one that will do everything for you overnight and some take a week. Seems kind of ridiculous, doesn't it? And it probably is ridiculous because you didn't gain all those pounds overnight, how can you expect to lose them overnight? I figured the best way to find the best ones was to check the Internet. Busy Week

We have a busy week going here. Have two days we have to travel to different doctors 30 miles away. It is starting to warm up some. At least it is getting above zero this week. Snow just started falling which isn't good. The sun has been out and that gives you a happier outlook on everything after so many gloomy days. Our little pet dog, Holly, is so good to sleep while we are gone. I better get ready to get going soon. You never know what the roads will be like and often there is black ice that is dangerous and the deer are out this time of the morning.
Pork Chops and Gravy

We are going to have pork chops and mashed potatoes and gravy tonight for supper. I think I will make some garlic bread to go along with it. That sounds good to me. Then there will be some hot chocolate pudding with cool whip on top for dessert. I am getting hungry just thinking about it. On these cold snowy days, hot suppers really hit the spot. It still is below zero here and the little windmill we have was frozen. It kept saying the wind was from the SE and it was from the NW so I went out and got it going the right way. Antivirus Software

I have been having problems with my computer. My son tells me that perhaps my antivirus protection is the trouble. It is slowing me down and even causing my computer to freeze up at the most inopportune times. I tried another antivirus but it was really bad and I quickly got rid of that. I have been somewhat satisfied with what I have now but I know my computer should be working faster. What I need is antivirus software that is high performance. Having worked in an electronics store, my boss told me about spyware and many people have that problem. What we need is a good antivirus software that will eliminate the spyware and also stop email viruses from getting through. I just got a new laptop with Windows 7 on it and need a high performance antivirus that I know will keep my information and files secure. Another thing is malware protection for my Netbook.
In my opinion, this antivirus has cutting-edge Proactive protection and combines a number of technologies in one great product. In checking the Internet, I found I could get a free trial download and if I subscribe, it won't automatically charge my credit card every year. I like that feature too.
Panama City Beach Motels

This has been a winter to remember. We have huge snow drifts that the kids love to slide down, they are so high. It has been below zero for weeks and it does not look like there is any end in sight for another week. When we are looking out the window at the blizzard blowing the snow by the window, all we can think of are white sandy beaches and panama city beach motels. That sounds just wonderful to us after months of one of the coldest and most snowy winters we have had in years. We checked out the Internet to find out what accommodations we could reserve and will be making plans to head there for a respite from this cold and snow. Dangerous Travel

Parts of our State are not recommending any travel on the roads tonight and probably tomorrow too. I went to the store today for milk as we probably won't be going out for a couple of days. It is snowing now and the winds are coming up and will really be bad tomorrow. I get concerned for family members who have a ways to travel to work. It is dangerous enough in winter with ice and snow but whiteout conditions make it almost impossible. Many places are closing and they are running them on the television screen. Nearly every woman I know just loves jewelry. She loves to get new jewelry for any and all occasions. She loves to receive new jewelry even if there is no special occasion. There are some very exciting cubic zirconia earrings and it is often very difficult to tell the difference between these and real diamonds. I have several items of jewelry that are cubic zirconia and I just love them. I wear my earrings all the time because they are so beautiful. It is my opinion that you can find very beautiful earrings such as these that your friends will envy. They will never guess that they are not diamonds, because I won't tell them. While you are sprucing up your home to lift our moral, do not forget about the garage. A garage is a man's love. Why not make it look good, as well as, useful? Our garage floor is a mess. I have seen pictures of garage flooring that sure would make a difference in our garage. Not only is it easy to install but it is skid proof. That would be quite important. I like to get on the Internet and check to see what is available and to see if I can save some money. It just does not pay to keep automatically renewing when there are so many options out there these days.
