About Me
We have 4 married children and we all have born again Christian homes, for which I am very thankful. We are delighted to see this passed down from generation to generation. I am a people person and love visiting, and helping them too, in any way I can. I love a good cup of hot tea with friends, neighbors, or family. And now blogging has become my latest passion, many thanks to a wonderful grandson. May you all find the joy, peace and happiness in our Lord Jesus Christ that I have found.
Books are for Reading

It is so cute to see a little child reading a book. Our little great granddaughter is reading a story to her new little brother. She even makes up the story even though she can't read yet. Then she shows him the pictures in the book. It is really neat to see her interacting with her little brother.
Valentines Day
Posted by clare3
It will not be long now and it will be Valentines Day. One year I told my husband I would love a box of chocolates without any carmels in them. He surprised me on his walk uptown and got me some. That was neat. We don't usually get each other stuff for Valentines Day as we have been together a great many of those days and it isn't a big thing like it is for young couples. Family Vacation
Posted by clare3
Work is tough. You spend all your waking hours making a living and getting stressed out. In today's economy, it is especially hard to relax and take it easy. That is why it is so important to get away and take a family vacation. The white sand beaches of the Riviera Maya contain 5 of the most beautiful hotels, just waiting for you to make your reservation. They will cater to your every whim. Wonderful food, spa treatments, swimming in luxurious pools and the finest of accommodations await you there. Don't you think it is time to get on the Internet and make those reservations? Movie Time and TV Programs

We are about to watch "Waking the Dead" an English program on every Thursday night. It is very interesting as they solve cold cases. I like all the Law and Order TV programs too. CSI and Criminal Intent and the other Police programs are all favorites. The Mentalist is fun to watch too. He solves a lot of crime just by observing people. Labels: CSI, Mentalist, TV programs
Cataract Surgery

Tomorrow is the big day. I am going to have the cataract on my left eye removed. I am told that I won't believe how much better I will be able to see everything. Right now I think I have really great eyesight, so I will be surprised if it makes that much difference. My husband's were much worse and he couldn't get over how beautiful the colors were after his surgeries on both eyes. We will see. Labels: cataract surgery, Health, vision
Green Shopping

Every person is trying to help preserve the environment. We recycle and use every means at our disposal to help keep the earth healthy and in tact for future generations. But did you ever think about green shopping on the Internet as a way to protect the environment? I have to admit that I did not think about it. But such shopping also helps reduce carbon dioxide emissions and it certainly uses less energy. I think it is a great idea to put into use whenever you plan a shopping trip. Brotherly Love
Posted by clare3

Just the beginning of many happy brotherly days ahead. They grow up so fast and soon will be playing with toys together. Emry loves to spend time playing with his first cousin, Kaelyn. It will really be something when the little brothers get to be 2 and all 4 are playing together. Grandpa and Grammy are going to be awful busy, as well as, their folks.
